Introduction

We would like to renew the traditions of the Budapest Saloon which was the centre of the intellectual life at the beginning of the 20th century.

Our aim is to give back the cosmopolitan character of Budapest that made the city a sparkling intellectual centre in the past century. We are planning to start the program in 2009 with one occasion on a monthy basis with the intention of bringing the most prominent personalities of the international scientific and media world as guests to Saloon.
